Online Counseling for Adults in Massachusetts

Massachusetts runs on a lot of things: deadlines, coffee, the commute, and a long winter that makes everything feel a little heavier. Therapy shouldn't add another drive to the list.

Couch by the Creek offers online therapy for adults anywhere in Massachusetts, from Greater Boston to the Berkshires. Sit down on your own couch, close the door, and talk to someone who's licensed in the Commonwealth and in no hurry.

Therapy that fits around your actual week

No parking, no waiting room, no 45 minutes in traffic to arrive frazzled for a session about feeling frazzled. Log in from your apartment in Somerville, your home in Worcester, your car on a work break, or your place on the Cape.

Licensed in Massachusetts

Your therapist is licensed in the Commonwealth: Krystina Vinpa, LICSW, MA License #128319. Sessions are by secure video, and you need to be in Massachusetts during your session.

Ways to pay

Use your insurance. We're in network with Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare (including AllSavers and Surest), as well as a range of employer, EAP, and student plans, including UHC Student Resources. See the full list. We verify your benefits before your first session, so there are no surprises.

Pay directly. The first appointment is $150–$200, and follow-up sessions are $125–$175.

Ask about sliding scale. We have a limited number of reduced-fee spots. It's a short, easy conversation.

Questions Massachusetts clients ask

I'm a student. Can you work with my plan?

If your school's plan is through UHC Student Resources, yes, we're in network. For other student plans, bring your card to the free consultation and we'll check.

I live outside Boston. Does online therapy still work?

Yes. We see adults anywhere in Massachusetts, including Worcester, Springfield, the North and South Shores, the Cape, and western Mass.

What if I'm traveling or at a second home in another state?

We can only hold sessions when you're physically in a state where your therapist is licensed. Check with us before you travel.
